What happened at Kingston BETA March 5th 2015

It was our first event for 2015 and we’re happy to report we had 110 people in attendance in addition to sizeable groups from HEART NTA and Northern Caribbean University. We had guests from Canada High Commission – Trade Commissioner Celia Champagnie; Marguerite Orane, Toronto-based Harvard trained Strategy + Business Coach as well as Susan Amat, Cofounder of Venture Hive in Miami.

We had pitches from TheVineslist, ErrandBoy and PandoSoft.

Host and Executive Founder of ConnectiMass Ingrid Riley gave her presentation she made at Black Tech Week in Miami – Sun, Sea and Startups and that’s available on Slideshare.

The date for the next Startup Weekend Jamaica was announced. It will be on July 3rd-5th, 2015 at the PCJ Auditorium in Kingston. More details to come. Join our email newsletter, facebook page and twitter @jamaicasw to keep updated.

The Next Kingston BETA will be the last Thursday in April.
